If he had ever truly put together a winner, instead of all those early seasons of cast-offs, has-beens and AHL-level players, there might have been a different ending. Who will ever know how much was his mediocre, rookie GM skills or his lack of financing.

What hurts also (so much hurts, can't say "the most") is that this team will be playoff-bound. Dudley did a great job the first year as GM, and now he's got financial backers, too. Seeing them in winnipeg, cheering for their playoff team is gonna hurt bad.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1973478613072681675.post-14459031377643135872011-05-31T10:35:09.453-07:002011-05-31T10:35:09.453-07:00I am heartbroken!! Too bad we can't sue someone to keep the team here for a while longer or maybe convince the board of governors to vote in the Atlanta fans favor. I can't keep this emotional roller coaster going much longer. There are too Many variables that anger me from the ownership to the fact that there are going to be tons of local jobs and money injected into the economy disappearing. As a season ticket holder I'm mad at the fact that no one addressed us at all. The players involvement in the community is going to be missed. Too much to mention in a comment box.

I'm definitely going to miss your blog.Brittanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18063625688477813728noreply@blogger.com
