Panthers vs Thrashers

Usually when Florida comes to town, it’s like “eh, whatever.” They usually don’t do too well, but they’ve done really well this year. We usually have a decent chance of beating them, but this year they are making a legitimate run for a playoff spot and had 22 more points than we did. Still doesn’t mean I’m interested in them. They do have a bitching goalie, Vokoun.
Last time they rolled into town, my buddy Candace really wanted me to get some good pictures of Richad Zednick. She’s a huge fan of his and it’s hard not to be after his miraculous comeback from that horrific accident he suffered in Buffalo last season. Well that night I took over 100 pictures. I got home and they were all gone. Vanished. The pictures that were already on that card were there, but none of my new ones were.

I was really hoping that didn’t happen this time. I’ve taken cards full of pictures since then with no issues, but I was still a little nervous about taking more Florida pictures.
Too bad the game wasn’t as smooth as me taking pictures. We gave up a 2-0 lead and ended up losing 4-3.

I've decided to start putting the seat I sit in for each game to show where the picture was taken from. Some are clearly better than others. This night I was in Section 119, Row F Seat 5.

Jay Boumeester, one of every one's favorite trade deadline rumors. He ended up not being traded, I'm sure Florida fans are relieved at least for a little while.

In the second period Kari goes down and everyone gets nervous. He's known for having to hose his eyes down with contact lens solution during stoppages in play, so I thought maybe he'd gotten a damn contact knocked out of his head.

Nope, guess not. Kari got up and play resumed. I'm glad he wasn't injured. Aside from the obvious reasons, Kari's parents were in town. I would think it would be super scary seeing your son down on the ice like that.
