Thrashers Training Camp: Day 4 (Photo FAIL)

I didn't get hardly any pictures today. They sent the babies home and separated the remaining babies into Team A or Team B. I was on a photo safari today and my prey was Manny Legace, so I was staying on Team B's side. Unfortunately, that meant I was in the other rink. The lighting was even worse than usual so not a lot of good pics.


I did manage to capture Manny though. And holy Jesus Manny smelled. I've been next to my share (though not enough) of sweaty goalies and WOW Manny had the goalie funk worse than any I've seen. I've heard Pavs is pretty smelly, but I haven't witnessed that myself. We decided that Moose doesn't stink because he's such a fitness nut that he's found a way for his body to absorb every calorie he intakes for fuel and so he has no waste and therefore just sweats pure water. Manny funked up my sweat shirt. Manny, though smelly, was his usual nice self. I asked for the picture and he said sure and then what camera to look at. I hate the picture of me, I might try and get another one this week. We'll see.

After about an hour everyone left the ice so the zamboni could go over it. Everyone except Manny that is. He must have known I was stalking him. You have to leave the ice one day Manny and I'll be waiting!

Again, sorry for the crappy pics. The environment was no cooperative in more ways than one. I'll be making a road trip to Nashville tomorrow for a preseason game. It's also Preds Fest. I hate going up there when I can't pull for the Preds, but oh well.
