The game was pretty much shit, but this was one of the most amazing things I've seen to date in Blueland. Chris Thorburn took a puck to the foot or somewhere on his leg. He laid on the ice for a few seconds writhing in pain, then got up. You could clearly tell he was in a lot of pain. He got back up and stayed with his man. He refused to go to the bench even though he was injured because he knew that it would leave the team vulnerable. The team couldn't clear the puck, Thor stayed on the ice, even attempting to block another shot. WARRIOR! That kind of play is inspiring. When he was finally able to come off the ice, he got a standing ovation, pretty good coming from a crowd who barely cheers for goals.

That's it: Slater is no longer my favorite player. From here on out, I'm cheering for Slater's 'stache! It makes me giggle!
