2010 Prospect Camp - Day Three
Day three of prospect camp started off rough for me, I over slept and missed the first session. I had to be at the rink early for the second session because I, along with some other fellow bloggers, got to interview new Thrashers Associate Coach, John Torchetti (more on that later).
Today was picture time for the prospects!
I was convinced pictures couldn't get any worse than the last two days. Last night I was playing around with the camera trying to "learn" something. (mistake #1) Today I go to take a picture in my usual setting and...Welcome to Blueland!
I couldn't find my husband a/k/a my photo tech so I had to shoot in "sports mode" or in "Blueland mode" until I found him. I managed to clean this one up a little. The guys doing some drills.
Great here is an awesome shot of the back of Levko's head.
Ed Pasquale's mask.
What's really fun is on the back of Ed's mask around the edges, there is a border that looks kind of like crime scene tape. What does it say? More cowbell!!! How awesome! I agree Ed, the world can always use more cowbell.
The other side of Ed's mask.
Jordan coming in to shoot on Ed. Jordan had a fantastic camp today.
More drills about to start.
Circle stretch.
Jordan and Klingy seem to be quite the buddies. They chat a lot.
Cody Sol stretching out before the action. Cody was playing pretty hard in the scrimmage today. He can be tough and nasty.
Face off for the 4 on 4.
Levko working hard in the corner.
Carrozzi says no.
Jordan gets to the puck first and has a nice break away.
Carl waiting for some action.
I like this picture because it looks like Levko is talking to Carrozzi lol.
Welcome to this end, Alex Kangas!
Now we have Levin at this end.
Burmistrov working hard to get it in the net.
Action in front of Levin.
Levin lets one in.
Goalie wipe out! Be careful out there, babies!
Levko on the ice.
Jordan trying to make something happen.
Poke check!
Carl watching his goal get in past Levin.
Hugs and "good games" all around.
Jordan Samuels was outstanding in the 4 on 4 today. He was good in the face off circle, skated well, hung on to the puck and had a few break aways. Besides one instance where Patrice Cormier owned him and another bad pass, Jordan had a phenomenal day.
Oh and I'm almost positive I saw Sebastian Owuya's brother, goalie and rapper Mark Owuya. If I see who I think is him tomorrow, I'm totally talking to him.
