Congratulations Nathan Oystrick!

Oysters was one of my favorite Thrashers last season. I was sad when he didn't make the team and even more upset when he got traded to the Ducks. He remained in Chicago as the Ducks do not have an AHL affiliated team. Nathan was recalled on April 1, no April Fools, to play with the big boys in Anaheim. He played in his first game with the Ducks last night against the Vancouver Canucks. He took 9 shifts last night for a total of 5 minutes and 34 seconds. He also took a 2 minute roughing penalty.
