Three Atlanta Thrashers Heading For the IIHF World Championships
I'm very excited to announced that two of your Atlanta Thrashers have been selected to represent Canada and one will be representing Sweden in the IIHF World Championships.
We know what a stud Pevs is, but Rich Peverley will get the chance to prove to the world that he isn't just "some other guy."
Despite injuries, Kane had a pretty good year for a rookie drafted #4 overall. After making Matt Cooke his bitch in the Thrashers final game, he turned some heads. This will be a great opportunity for Evander.
Also, Ben, of the Blueland Blog, Tweeted that Niclas Bergfors will be representing team Sweden. Another rookie, Bergy had a great year with 44 points (21 goals and 23 assists), placing him in fourth place among rookies for goals and points. Lyka Till Niclas!
Good luck to you guys! We are proud!
