Bend Over Blueland: Thrashers vs Leafs
Toronto Maple Leafs blew into town for the first time this season. They played the previous night where they managed to blow a 5-2 lead against the St. Louis Blues. They did manage to win in a shoot out. Thrashers were hoping to keep up their own winning streak and win their third game in a row.
There were a few waffle signs and some waffle boxes. I was looking forward to a fun time. I would not get that.
Heat had a great sign. It was a picture of the Air Canada Centre with the Waffle House sign coming out of the top.
Komisarek clearing the pucks from the net.
The Monster! Gustavsson didn't play tonight, Reimer was in the net.
Dion Phaneuff is back in the cluster that is Toronto.
I see Colby hasn't changed much either, I still manage to get pictures of his eyes closed.
Reimer facing some shots with Heat's sign in the back.
Monster in the net.
The Monster shrugs off a puck.
Colby looking scared/surprised. That's what my face would have looked like if you had told me what the score would be tonight.
Swarming the Monster.
Trying to get some jump in their teams, old dance partners Colton Orr and Eric Boulton square off. One team definitely got some energy and it wasn't the Thrashers.
Thrash giving the opposing fans shit and some silly string. They'd get the last laugh of the night.
Pavs keeps an eye on Kulemin.
We are over it too, Buff.
After the first period, things pretty much went to hell.
Buff: We won't suck as bad for you as we did for Pavs.
Don't believe him, Mason.
Some bullshit started. Eager punches Armstrong in the face, something which he will get a 4 game suspension for later. At the moment, he gets a 5 minute penalty
match penalty.
