Can we crush their dreams??? Panthers vs Thrashers

Well, come to find out it didn't matter if they beat us or not, they wouldn't have gone to the playoffs. At the time, we wanted to dash their dreams! Actually, I didn't. I would have loved for Florida to get in the playoffs because you can get a super cheap ticket to Ft. Lauderdale and I want to see some playoff hockey. Not at the expense of my Thrashers though!

I heard my Moose was going to be in net so I brought my classic "I believe in Moose"

I also made one for our guys who are going on to play in the World Championships. Bobo is going for Slovakia, Ilya for Russian, Toby for Sweden and our very own Bogo and Hainsey for Team USA. Good luck guys and congrats!!

Tonight was the return of our big Finn, Kari Lehtonen. He's been out for a little over two weeks after collision with that piece of shit, Sean Avery. He still looked rough, slow and kind of rusty. I was worried about him :(

Some other fans wishing the Team USA guys good luck and a variety of other well wishes. My favorite is the invitation to the Prom for Bogosian. How awesome would that be if he went?

It's the end of the season we have nothing to lose, let's have a look at Clay Wilson. We got Clay in a deal with Columbus for Jason Williams.

Shauna and I had pretty decent seats. We were in 109. Not horrible for pictures I guess.

I got a nice shot of Slava in the penalty box.

Then we noticed our good buddy, Kerry Outen down three seats from the glass. Shauna and I made a bee line down there and this is the view from our new seats!! SWEET!

I love this picture because you can see Moose racing for the background in the back. We had a delayed penalty against Florida and he was heading off ice so we could get the extra skater.

This could be one of my favorite pictures all year. I love the action shot of Vokoun making a fantastical save.

Kovy doesn't fight much but when he does, LOOK OUT! Nothing better than a mad Russian. I love it when he gets so mad he has the maniacal smile/laugh and the dancing crazy eyes.

I love noticing goalies weird little ritualistic ticks. If Moose makes a glove save or covers the puck, he holds it in his glove and flips it a few times before giving it to the ref...EVERY single time.

I can't imagine what a Panther (possibly Allen) and Moose could be talking about. Maybe he's jealous of Moose's awesome #1 fan.

I was in Moose heaven. He just skated back and forth mere feet away. I know he does it in warm ups, but it's different some how in an actual game.

There are a lot of signs that make their way to Phillips arena. This is my very favorite of the year. My hockey buddies, husband included, are jealous we didn't think of it. They are all Slayer fans and it just makes sense. Kudos to you fans! This sign kicks supreme ass.

Thrashers lose 3-2. Oh well.
