Final Practice of 2008-09 Season
Unfortunately I was only able to get to 3 practices this year. I wish I could go to all of them, but I have one of those stupid things called a job and that stupid job has something called "banker's hours." So during the week, practice is out of the question unless I take the morning off, which I did last season. In this economy, I'm glad to have my stupid job and it enables me to buy hockey tickets so you can't complain. (I actually love my company)
We were off on Good Friday and the Thrashers practicing...it was GOOD Friday indeed.
Moose and Goalie Coach Steve Weeks. I would love to see Moose become our goalie coach after Steve. I wouldn't be able to make cute Moose posters anymore, but at least he'd still be in the city.
Kari stretching. I was worried about him after seeing him at the Florida game. He still kind of looked dazed and slow. He looked much better at practice
This is a horrible awful blurry picture, but I had to put it up anyway. Being a Moose is hard work and apparently makes you very hungry. We got to practice a little early and Moose, being the Moose that he is, was out early working hard. About 15 minutes later he leaves the ice and comes back eating some kind of bar. As I'm sure that healthy bastard hasn't eaten a candy bar in years, nor being from Sweden would he slum it and eat our candy if he WERE going to eat chocolate, I'm assuming it's some kind of power bar. Whatever it was, he was eating the hell out of if.
Oysters stretching.
Boultsie
Weeks and Moose going over more stuff.
Anssi looks like he's up to something and Marty is looking at me like I'm nuts.
Kaptain Kovy! Happy Birthday, Ilya! April 15 is his birthday.
A nice shot of Marty's shiner.
Bobo! Oh how I will miss you during the off season.
I was surprised and impressed they were working them so hard at he last practice. It's the last game of the season, no chance at the play offs, I expected more fun and games, but they were working pretty hard. Also exciting is my husband was messing around with the camera and found a great setting that seems to have solved my practice photos issues.
I was on the side where Moose was (of course). It worked out better though because there were soooo many people on the other side waiting for autographs.
Bobo and Thorburn.
Get it Moose!
Getting ready to shoot some more on the Moose.
Hainsey looks 12 when he is clean shaven. He seriously looks younger than 18 year old Bogo. Grow some stubble! I've got enough players to feel like a dirty old lady about.

Oh damn, I think I've got me some Moose Fever...
I speak from experience, Moose Fever is tough. Once you are infected, it doesn't go away. It can't be cured, the only thing that will ease the symptoms are repeaded viewings of a certain hot Swedish goalie ;)
good shots of practice!
Hey girl! It's Sonya. You met me at the last few Thrashers games + the Gladiators game. Here is the link to my website:
