First of all, Congrats to the Coyotes, you get at least another season of NHL hockey. I don't want anyone to lose their team!




Unfortunately now that the city voted to give the NHL some funds to help keep the Coyotes in town for at least another season, Winnipeg and True North Sports are turning all of their focus on us. Although they have always been licking their chops for us, this makes it worse. The vultures are circling.




What can we do? Honestly not a damn thing. I'm a season ticket holder. I blog. I talk hockey. There really isn't anything else I can do. I as well of many of my friends and fans on the message board have emailed Gary Bettman. Will it do any good? Probably not. Will he even see them? Who knows. But it sucks just sitting around waiting. It's frustrating to feel helpless, so if you feel like you need to do something, shoot Uncle Gary and email.

Another option, you can actually call and talk to Gary every Thursday afternoon. Well, let me rephrase... you can tall and if you get through...talk to Gary. Gary Bettman hosts a radio show every week on Sirius/XM radio called NHL Hour. He has guests and takes calls. How awesome would it be if hundreds...okay let's not get crazy, it IS Atlanta, DOZENS of people flooded the lines and tried to get through and talk to Gary. I've called in before and got put on hold.
