Congratulations Marty Brodeur!!

Marty and I aren't exactly talking right now, but you can't ignore this accomplishment. Marty broke the NHL record for most shut outs by a goalie. Terry Sawchuck previously held the record at 103. This is always the record that most involved with hockey thought would never fall.


Marty wasn't content to do it against any team either. No easy performances for him! Marty shut out the Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins and turned away 35 shots.
