Sad Days In Blueland

Thrashers fans received terrible news today. The.name "Benning" might not ring a bell, but if you said "the elderly kiss came couple" every resident of Blueland would know who you were talking about. Yesterday at the age of 89, Mr. T.R. Benning passed away.



In addition to being on the kiss came with his wife Maria, T.R. was a valuable member of the community founding with his father Benning Construction. He was also a decorated war hero having fought in World War II. This man stormed the beaches at Normandy! Mr. Benning received a Purple Heart, Silver Star and Bronze Star for valorous service.

Last season the Bennings were selected to receive the "Seventh Man Award" for the super fan of Blueland. This was well deserved. Not only were the Bennings Season Ticket Holders from the beginning, they purchased their tickets the very first day they were available!

Mr. Benning will be monumentally missed. Blueland and certainly the kiss cam will never be the same.
