Thrashers vs The Leafs
Sunday marked Game 2 of the 5 game home stand and Game 1 of the Canadian Invasion. The Leafs had recently made several trades and had been playing pretty well, losing only 1 of their last 10 games in regulation. The Thrashers were on a five game losing streak and needed a win like Charlie Sheen needs an intervention.
In light of the recent comments by one of the Thrashers owners, I wanted to show some southern hockey love. Thanks for the picture, Michelle.
Assistant Mike Komisarek does an interview with Leafs TV.
Jiggy stretching.
Newie Stuie taking some shots.
Wonder what they are talking about. Maybe about how neither one of them will be here after the deadline.
Byfuglien putting one on the net. Now we need you to put a bunch IN the net.
Swarming the goalie.
Some else showing their hockey love with signs in the crowd.
Reimer played the first period, but after a collision with Evander Kane, had to leave the game and Jiggy came in. He's not wanting to take any crap off of Ladd.
The first and second periods were crap. The Thrashers went into the 3rd period down 2 to nothing. Captain Ladd changed that!
Ladd celebrates.
Some scuffling in front of the net.
Jiggy turns a shot aside.
Jiggy has a very distinctive stance.
Colby selling the penalty.
Man I love Wheeler. He takes it to the net and is fast.
Thanks to a goal by Ron Hainsey in OT, Thrashers win!
As full of winning as Charlie Sheen.
Win + no travel = Post Game Show Guest! We have a high dollar guest tonight, game winner, Ron Hainsey!
As much as I love the new location of the Post Game Show, I hate the bubble they sit in now. It's rotten for pictures.
Ron agrees.
Thrashers win 3-2 in OT!

Nice to be able to come here tonight and re-live a win after the millionth loss of 2011....this one vs Ott, but it could have easily been the Habs (oops...spoiler).
Wins are nice when you can get them, aren't they?
