Day 2 of Training Camp!
I headed back to Duluth this morning, man it's a lot farther now. (I moved) It was worth it though! Without any pesky wedding, I could watch all of the camp. The day started out as Day 1 did with scrimmage.
Prospects taking care of the pucks.
I stood on the opposite end today, I wanted to get more of Mason. Akim Aliu brings the puck down the ice.
Peter Mannino making a save.
I like Big Buff and I cannot lie!
Byfuglien getting ready for the face off.
Boris protecting his zone.
Time for the next scrimmage.
I was on the wrong side yesterday for Mason. I made up for it today! Mason cruises over to our side.
"Dear God, please let this chick stop taking pictures of me. Thank you. Amen."
Sorry Mase, get used to it!
I like this one. You can see his pretty eyes and his mask. It seems that everyone unanimously loves this mask. It's growing on me. I prefer a busier mask.
Like McIntyre! He has his usual Potato Head on there, but this one has an afro, lipstick and gold hoop earrings. Maybe she is a disco Potato head! If you missed it, he has a Potato Head on his mask because he's from Prince Edward Island and they produce potatoes. He also has Carebears on the back of his mask representing his wife and kids.
Drew makes a save.
Face off!
Goalie twin powers...ACTIVATE!
It thrilled me to no end that Owuya and Oduya were on the ice together. I was far more thrilled than an adult woman should be over this.
The ref got knocked into the box with the players.
Mason making a save.
Getting ready for action. Notice the bad ass blade tape he has. I like that it matches his mask.
Another good shot of the blade tape as he gets ready for some shots.
That goal totally should not have counted, the net was off the mooring!
Once the scrimmage was done, 2 teams did drills on the main ice and the 3rd team did drills over on the other ice. Slater was listed as injured, but he participated in drills.
The guys getting ready for the drills.
Pasquale fans away the puck.
Deep thoughts with Ed Pasquale.
Peter chilling by the bench.
Awww, don't be shy!
Okay, no more pictures.
Well maybe just a few. Peter is chatting with Brent Sopel.
Kulda discussing stuff with one of the coaches.
Cody Sol stretching out. I have to say I've been impressed with him. I am always impressed with him at prospect camp, but he was here with NHL'ers and was holding his own.
Brent Sopel, I love you. He had me at "I'm taking the Stanley Cup to the Gay Pride Parade." Well done, sir. I called him "The Gremlin" at camp. He skates kind of hunched over and has a pointy face.
Another of our new guys from Chicago, Andrew Ladd.
Danick Paquette has a fierce mullet. Don't get any ideas, Boris.
Pasquale stretching out.
Ed was very photogenic today. I guess he is channeling Patrick Kane by chewing his mouth guard.
Really lady? More pictures?
Two blissful mornings spent at Duluth Ice Rink! I wish I could go the rest of the week, but I'm glad I have a job to prevent that! Our first preseason game is Tuesday and I can barely wait!!

This was a great day! And, being that we were standing next to each other, I got a lot of shots almost identical to yours. And, they were probably thinking exactly what you said, only in duplicate, geez girls, enough with the pictures already. lol
