First Preseason Game of the 2010-11 Season!

I was so excited for this game! I didn't care that most of our stars weren't playing. I don't care that it's preseason. It's hockey! I've been without hockey far too long to be picky!

Arturs Kulda, hoping for a spot on the blue line. I think Blueland is drinking the Kulda-aid. While he WAS one of the few guys to finish the game with a +\-score of 1 (only Dman not in the negative). He was out of position several times, had terrible footspeed and was beaten to the puck on several occasions. Everyone wants to talk about how horrible Boris was, Kulda wasn't stellar either.



Boris had a bad night, nobody had a good one though. Here is Boris and our 1st round draft pick, Burmistrov

Hands down this was the best part of the night. Looks like Thrash is letting his hair down this season and not wearing his helmet.

Take a breath, it's only preseason. It's the FIRST game of the preseason. No need for panic. The guys looked like there was no hustle...and there probably wasn't. It's the first game of the preseason.

What looked good? Pettersson. Freddie had a goal and an assist. So good to be back in Blueland!

One thing that was much improved...warm up music! I hope it stays that way. There was no Brittney Spears or Lady Gaga. Instead there was Smashing Pumpkins, Guns & Roses and Iron Maiden!
