In The Nest: Jeremy Morin
Jeremy Morin was one of the Thrashers 2nd round draft picks, drafted 45th overall. Jeremy described himself as a pure goal scorer. Central scouting said he'd shoot from anywhere and was a "shoot first, ask questions later kind of player." So has the left winger lived up to the hype and started the season well?
I would say so. Jeremy has helped put the Kitchener Rangers in second place in the West and first place in their Midwest Division. The Rangers have played 10 games and have 7 wins, 1 overtime loss and 2 shoot out losses.
Jeremy has played in all ten games and has scored 10 goals and 5 assists for a total of 15 points. Three of those goals came on October 9 when the Rangers played the Owen Sound Attack. Not happy with a mere hat trick in the 6-2 win for the Rangers, Jeremy also scored an assist and was the #1 star of the game.
Nice job, Jeremy!
