New Feature: In The Nest
I had so much following the draft and then seeing our babies come for prospect and then training camp, I thought I would start a new feature. "In the nest" (get it? birds...baby birds...in the nest. Clever, huh?) will follow our prospects from the 2009 Draft. I plan on making it a monthly feature and it will discuss our prospects and how they are doing in their respective junior teams.
Since we have a bit of time between games, I'll make the first few about one player at at a time.
First up, Levko Koper of the Spokane Chiefs!
Levko is a left winger for the Spokane Chiefs of the WHL. The Thrashers chose Levko in the 7th round of the 2009 draft.
The Chiefs have won 4 out of the last 7 games played. Levko is doing his part to put the Chiefs on top. He has played in all 7 games and is currently a +6. He has scored 7 goals and 4 assists in those games for a total of 11 points. He got his second career hat trick already this season on September 18th at Prince George.
Keep up the good work, Levko!
