The Fan 680 Hates The Thrashers

And apparently they hate me as well...or at least their Facebook crew does. Yes, THAT 680 the Fan. The 680 the Fan who professes to be the "home for your Atlanta Thrashers. Yes, the 680 the Fan who sponsors the Thrashers Post Game show where Kincade discuss the Thrashers and interview players.



I joined 680 The Fan's facebook page a few weeks ago. Several of us noticed that there was no mention of the Thrashers on there, so after the game we started posting on their page.


After the Islander game, I posted about the win. It was removed. I posted again, it was removed again. Another Thrashers fan, Mandy Wingo posted. They responded on her post "you can't just talk about the wins." Okay, fine. I posted again and said "Way to bounce back after that home loss." Removed.


So I got a screen capture of the icon on their web page that says "home of the Atlanta Thrashers" and posted it on their FB page asking "was this not the station that carries Thrashers games and why were we not allowed to discuss this team."



Removed. Several other fans had their posts removed repeatedly, too.





So tonight after the win over Ottawa, I head over to 680 and post "Way to blow a 3-0 lead, but the Thrashers pulled it out in the end! Don't scare me like that guys."



Removed.



So I posted it again.



It stayed a while. A few more fans showed up and posted.



Then mine was removed, as was my comment on someone else's post.


Home of the Atlanta Thrashers? This team is in desperate need of support and we need to grow our fan base, this doesn't seem the way to do it.
