Thrashers Prospect Camp: Day 3

So Serge and I pretty much spent most of the weekend at the Ice Forum in Duluth. We slept in on Sunday and went for the afternoon session. We were even late for that. Imagine our surprise to see the place PACKED! We had to park in a different parking lot. Nice job, Atlanta! I think everyone was super excited to see the 4 on 4 game that afternoon.




We were late getting in, so we missed most of the drills.

FINALLY!!! Look who flipped his lid, Edward Pasquale. After he played the first period of the 4 on 4, he took a seat to watch Baby Dan Kamal play the second period.

Baby Dan: You took your mask off! I thought you were worried about that Getting Pucks Deep chick.

Pasquale: Nah, she's cool.

Baby Dan: If she's so cool, why wasn't she in the locker room interviewing us with the other bloggers?

Pasquale: She found out about it too late.

Baby Dan: I heard it was because she wasn't prolific enough and couldn't get security clearance.

Pasquale: No, that's not it at all. She just found out about it too late.

Baby Dan: Uh-huh. She's at all the post game shows, my dad says she is a nut.

Pasquale: What ever.

I got to cheer for my first Klingy goal...then a second!!! Bubnick got 2 goals as well. Evander scared us to death by blocking a shot, but returned later. The game ended tied and we went to a very dramatic shoot out (AHL rules). Paul Postma in the shoot out.
