Thrashers Prospect Camp: Day 5
I dragged my ass out to Duluth by 9:00 a.m. this morning. It was so hard. When I had a job, I was AT work at 7:30 every morning. I've gotten pretty worthless! The babies were on the ice early, too.
Is there any other way to start a Prospect Camp post???
Team Blue was on the ice first. They did some drills and some practices.
Morrin trying to get a shot in on Taylor Nelson.
Good effort by Nelson.
Carozzi facing some shots.
Nice save, Carozzi!
After a while they pulled the two nets to near center ice and did some drills. In one, the skaters weren't allowed to go past the red line.
Team Blue (a) wins! Paul Postma is on this team.
Chaos on the ice! Everyone has a puck and is moving it around.
Trying to get one past Pasquale.
Team White getting instructions from the coaches.
Pasquale showing off his nice glove save.
Pasquale says no.
Evander taking it to the net.
Ed actually flipped up his mask today. Of course he didn't turn around for me.
Awful pic, but I like that you can see Ed swatting at the puck. He uses his stick a lot. Lots of poke checking, swatting and puck handling.
Baby Dan (Chris) Kamal in net on our side now. I love watching Baby Dan. He has to work twice as hard as Ed. Baby Dan looks like a little ninja, sticks, gloves, blockers everywhere. He has to work harder to fill up the net...Ed just slides his big ass leg over.
Time for Team White to pull the nets to the middle.
Ed doing a split save.
Ed making some saves.
More saves.
Game over, man!
So it's been my goal to get my picture taken with Klingy. It's been crowded the first few days, today was the perfect day. Hardly anyone was there. When the guys were leaving the ice, nobody was asking for autographs or taking pictures...so I chickened out. Intimidated by a 17 year old kid.
FAIL!
RIDICULOUS
CLOWN SHOES!
Tomorrow is my last chance.
