God I Hate Buffalo

Well actually, let me rephrase that..."God I hate Buffalo Fans." I actually don't hate the team. I like Ryan Miller. I was going to make him a "Good luck in Vancouver" sign, but I didn't want to have to stand in the middle of all the slug fans. Yeah, yeah, I'm sure there are good Buffalo fans somewhere. I can tell you where they are NOT. I don't mind fans of opposing teams coming in to support their teams. I do the same. I don't like to be personally confronted and I don't like for them to start "Thrashers Suck" chants. Hey, at least there were no fights this time! No slug fans spilled beer on kids this time. So I guess it was a good night!


I myself stopped by McCormick & Schmick's for their Thrashers happy hour. You can get a 1/2lb cheeseburger and fries for $2.95! You are going to pay 3 times that much in the arena and it's not going to be nearly as good. They also have drink specials, and I was in luck, Thursday's special was martinis! So I had 2 and was feeling pretty good. So I went to the Absolute Vodka bar inside Phillips and had 2 more.


Goodness! I was feeling damn good and having some fun. Unfortunately the pictures aren't that great this time lol. I'd keep forgetting to take pictures.

Several minutes ago there was some action in front of Pavs. I just got around to taking the picture.

Atlanta out shot Buffalo 14 to 8 and we headed into the second period with no score on the board.

There were a lot of discussions, but no real fights.





These were some of the lively fans that were in front of me. The guy directly in front of my husband was cool. The guy beside me was cool, but his kid was a maniac. These guys were okay, just cheered a lot. A guy beside him flipped my friend Randy off, that's not cool.

The Thrashers once again out shot the Sabres (13 to 5) and this time scored. Buffalo scored as well and we went into the 3rd period tied at 1.

Also, VERY cool I participated in one of the in-arena games, the Match Game. It's like the old 70s Game show. I won a signed Toby Enstrom jersey! Michelle got footage of it.

I really hate this chick. She almost got in a fight with a chick who was sitting at my table last season. In typical classy Buffalo fashion, she insulted the girl about being over weight by yelling "eat another donut."





We made it through the 3rd period without anyone else scoring so we went into OT. Buffalo won in OT.


Leaving was almost unbearable. The Barfalo fans were so obnoxious. Congrats, you finally got to see your guys win a game here. We swept you last season and our record is 12-3-4 against them. If you love that burned out frozen shit hole so much, I-75 North, bitches.

So no more getting drunk for me before a game, not as good for pictures. I might however continue being drunk for Buffalo games.
