My Top Favorite 5 Pictures of 2009
I kind of messed myself up by putting the "Jared Boll and Toby in front of the net" picture (with Pavs peeking through) under "action shots." I won't use the picture in another category and it really is one of my favorite pictures of all time. I have all these crazy rules for myself that I have to follow so I can't use it again. It was hard to find my favorites from this season for 2009 because I kept thinking of the Toby picture. ANYWAY....
5. Goal on Ersberg. The Thrashers vs the Kings was such a fantastic game for us, we hammered them. Combine that with catching a goal with my camera and it's a win-win-win situation.
4. Marty Freaking Turco. Yes, this crappy picture is one of my favorites. The color is horrible and I had to get a team of photoshop experts to even make it look decent, but I love it. He's looking right at me and gave me a cheesy/homicidal smile. After the Nashville disaster, this was even more special for me.
3. Marty Brodeur Glove Save. I love that the ass-clown Chad LaRose is right in front of him. Marty made this brilliant glove save and I was lucky enough to get it. Yeah, this about the only good thing from that horrible 6 hour drive to see the Devils get shut out by the Hurricanes in Game 6 of the Hurricanes/Devils Stanley Cup series.
2. Moose runs for the bench. This picture has delighted me since I took it. It's not even that great of a picture. I just love that I accidentally got Moose hauling ass to the bench so an extra attacker could come on the ice. This picture has changed the way I take pictures at the game. Now, if the goalie is either being pulled in the final minutes or exiting on a delayed penalty, I take a picture of him.
1. Army and Slava having fun. Okay any photographic evidence of Slava Kozlov laughing is like catching a shot of Big Foot. If anyone can get someone laughing, it's Colby Armstrong. I also love the big smile on Little's face in the back. This was the final game of the season, so I'm sure everyone was looking forward to vacations, family time and Army had a wedding to look forward to!
Welcome 2010!! May I get even more good pictures.

Good pictures... I think Bolts' face in the background is kinda like "I don't know them, I don't know them, I don't know them... must keep focused... I don't know them."
Thanks! He's all business back there, isn't he? I love that you can see Nathan Oystrick, too. I miss Oysters :(
Hey! This is Ally (one of the chicks who was being a dork and came up to talk to you in the food court before...I don't even remember which game!).
LOVE the pic of Slava and Army horsing around. I tell people that Slava laughs and smiles but no one believes me. :P
I remember you, Ally! You and your friend Ryan (I hope I got her name right)made my night!
See now you have photographic evidence that Slava does indeed smile and laugh!
