Good Luck DP!!!!

Tonight Rick DiPietro takes the net for the Islanders for the first time this season. He only played 5 games last season. It's been so long since he's been in the net the only picture I have is from the 2008 All Star Game. That's the last time I've seen him, that's the last time anyone has seen him!! He's been the butt of a thousand jokes and the source of endless discussions relating to those long NHL contracts.

I hope he can get his grove back and get back in the game. I'm pulling for you, Pretty Ricky!!

**UPDATE**

Well the Islanders lost. DP looked rusty, he looked like someone who hasn't played in 2 years...oh wait. I thought DP did well and was able to keep up. Hey, he played 60 minutes and nothing fell off or got broken, it was a good night! He played the puck way more than I would like to see him do at first. If he can stay healthy, I'm sure he will knock the rust off in no time. I'm pulling for him! He is such an exciting goalie to watch. I can't wait until he's back to his full potential.! Good job, DP!
